Been to any good restaurants lately?
This is Little Poppet's rave review page where we share our experiences of 'child-friendly' places to eat and who's got the best deals in the area - in our humble opinion, of course!
This month's favourite is Frankie and Benny's.
A fabulous restaurant diner with an
extensive menu and attentive staff. On our
visit the children received a great activity
pack which consisted of a multi coloured pen, an
activity book and a puzzle which kept Daddy
occupied at least! Everybody had something to do until the order arrived.
Frankie and Benny's is a New York/Italian diner and the food is freshly cooked to order. The Children's Menu is fantastic (click here to view)
and the portions are extremely generous!
Children also get a free top up of juice with
their meal which is great, and the pudding is
included in the kids' meal deal.
The baby changing facilities are clean, with a drop-down unit to rest the baby on and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They also provide balloons on request and have high chairs for the little ones.
All in all a great experience and the 50s and 60s music playing in the background was very relaxing.
